VISUAL ARTIST

Valentyna Protsak lives and works in Zürich, Switzerland.

She studied art at the T.G. Shevchenko High School of Fine Arts in Kiew and received her Bachelor in Fine Arts and Art and Design Education at Lucerne School of Art & Design.

The Swiss painter attracted attention internationally in the art scene since 2008.

Her expressionist and figurative paintings are illustrating bodies and characters.

She combines strong contrasts in pastel colors to transmit reality as she sees it

and reflects her own depiction of visual lifestyle.

Her paintings allegorise an encounter with contemporary society and contemporary living.
