“Narcisso” explores identity and the struggle for recognition in a visually charged composition.

Two enlarged halves of women’s faces in peach and yellow tones converge within a single canvas, highlighting both their striking similarity and their desire for individuality. Though nearly identical, each face asserts its own presence, embodying a subtle rivalry for visibility and acknowledgment.

Horizontal textures of oil paint underscore the symbolism of media and publicity, creating a tactile relief that evokes screens, broadcasts, and the pervasive flow of contemporary imagery. The brushwork transforms visual repetition into tension, turning resemblance into a metaphor for the modern negotiation between personal identity and public perception.

“Poeme” is a meditative ode to light, color, and the inner state of being.

The figure of a woman bathing in yellow-orange sunlight becomes a symbol of immersion in energy and warmth, embodying vitality, joy, and the awakening of life. Her silhouette, rendered in cool blue tones, creates a complementary harmony: the heat of the sun meets the coolness of shadow, heightening both sensuality and emotional resonance.

The golden rays can be read as a metaphor for inner light, inspiration, and life force enveloping and protecting the figure. The blue silhouette adds a layer of mystery, inviting introspection, poetic reflection, and a subtle, contemplative melancholy.

Through expressive brushwork, “Poeme” transforms a simple sunlit scene into a symbolic dialogue between light and shadow, the external and internal, the visible and imagined, with every ray and contour carrying emotional meaning.

“Corset” — an allegory of strength and vulnerability.

The woman in a metallic Mugler corset appears both knight and muse, poised between protection and constraint.

The chameleon, the mountains, and the blazing sunset transform her figure into a symbol of fate: suspended between change and permanence, adaptation and resilience.

Titel : Aisuro
Medium: Oil on canvas
Size: 140 x 160 cm
(signed)
Year: 2021
Price: 8960.- CHF

“Aisuro” is a painterly allegory of love as a charged union of reason and instinct.

The reclining female figure and the tiger-striped cat embody two poles: vulnerability and strength, intimacy and independence. Between them, a rainbow appears — a fragile sign of possible reconciliation.

Cubist structures articulate the language of reason, while sweeping black expressionist strokes unfold the language of passion. Their collision generates a space where love reveals itself not as harmony, but as dynamic energy born of contradiction.

The title, derived from the Japanese word for “to love,” introduces an element of cultural otherness, transforming the work into a universal metaphor: love as the search for meaning within chaos.
